Usually there are no mosquitoes as we are 1,800 metres above sea level. Although Malaria is virtually unknown within the Maasai Mara Reserve, we still recommend you take the necessary precautions because you will be travelling through regions that may be affected by Malaria. We recommend that you take the necessary precautions and take advice from your personal doctor. The Maasai Mara is a home to wild animals. It is not a zoo and is not fenced. For your safety the Camp is always guarded by our Maasai guards. You will also be escorted day and night on your trips by our experienced guides and trackers. |
