Things to bring
Please find below a list of items we recommend to bring while you are at Kilima Camp :
- A warm jacket for game drives as it can be pretty cool in the Mara in the early morning or late afternoon
- A warm jumper and a pair of trousers for evenings
- A raincoat (in the case of a possible afternoon rain shower, especially in November and April and May).
- A comfortable pair of walking shoes (in order to enjoy our African Bush walks, guided bush walks and safari on foot)
- Sun cream, sunglasses and hat, the sun can be very strong (you are at an altitude of 1500 to 1800 metre above the sea level)
- Your video and camera as well as batteries and chargers
- Binoculars if you have a pair for your game drives
- Personal medical requirements. Your own medicine, if you have to take specific medication, but we have a first aid kit and we can also call the “Flying Doctors” in case of emergency
- Enough cash. Please note that all extras activities and extras drinks will be charged to your personal account. You will have to settle you account at Kilima Camp in cash (KSH, USD and EUR accepted) before leaving the camp.
- The Park Fees if they are not inluded in your invoice will be paid by you to the Mara Conservancy in cash In USD. From the 1st July 2011: $80 per day per person and $45 per person below 16. Free under 3 years old.
